What's next?

At this point you should have enough information to decide if our services will meet your needs. A deposit via PayPal secures your dates and gets us working on your customized itinerary and art work selector.

You'll be given a private, password-protected page on our site where you can enjoy selecting from among available artworks and galleries to see during your visit, as well as optional restaurant recommendations, shopping along our route etc.

And on the day of my visit?

On the day of your excursion, we meet at a pre-determined spot near a Métro station, and go by foot from there to your pre-selected galleries, exhibitions, auctions and ateliers.

Half-day excursions are 3 hours in length, full days are six hours, excluding lunch, which you may take on your own, or we can join you to continue the conversation.

What if we don't get to everything on our tour?
It's a rare client who isn't happily sidetracked by a work of art, an artist or a gallerist -- and in fact we usually have more options for you than time. We always pass along additional ideas for you to pursue on your own time, and remain available by phone and text should you need our help or advice for an acquisition throughout your stay.

What about the weather?
It often rains for brief periods in Paris -- come equipped with an umbrella. We don't offer refunds for rainy days, as it's beyond our control. We do however enjoy lingering a little longer over a nice work, with a cup of coffee from a sympathetic gallery owner.

Dear Caroline,

Sample Intro reflecting their stated needs, dates, whatever relevant info:

Welcome to your personal space on city | art insider. It's where we pull together all the details as we organize your perfect art excursion.

We are so pleased to be working with you to put together a few great days of art for you in Paris. We appreciate your thorough approach to your time with us, and what you're looking for is exactly what we love to provide.

So, here are a few thoughts on your itinerary based on your needs. You'll also find links to important information to the side, including your ArtWorks Selector, where we'll get our thinking started on possibilities for purchase

1. sample goal one

We love the Marais for this. It's packed with galleries that span the range of contemporary art, and also, mercifully, prices. However, if that's where you ended up on your last visit, and would prefer something different, we have other suggestions too (see kinetic art). Also, as we hone in on your acquisition prospects, we may find there's a cluster in one neighborhood.

2. sample goal two

You are lucky to be here at the time of the Salon de Montrouge. Visit the site and you'll see a list of artists linked to sample works, and from there to the artists' sites. It's quite fun to explore, and if there are any you think you may want to connect with while you're here (in addition to seeing them all at Montrouge), we'll make contact and see if we can meet them. Montrouge would be a great 1/2 day excursion. If we planned a lunch/relax time, it could be a full day with artist visits in the afternoon.

3. sample goal three

The best way to tackle this would be for you to see the Dynamo exhibition either by yourselves or with us, then add in a tour of kinetic art in the galleries of Matignon or Saint-Germain-des-Prés. This is definitely a chance to see more historic pieces, rather than works for purchase, as per your preferences.

Notes on excursions: 3 - 4 hours max preferred.
