Last year, this festival of emerging European photography welcomed over 25,000 visitors to the Parc de Bagatelle.
It's a great show, and not just because there's not much else fair-wise at this time of year. A jury selects 43 European photographers, who present on their own behalf. It's quite relaxed, and there's a good selection of photography.
This year, the director of Musée Maison Nicephore Niepce (home of the inventor of photography, in Chalon sur Saone), F. Cheval, has been given carte blanche to choose works to include in the salon. We look forward to seeing his selections.
