Kinetic art in the spotlight in Paris

This summer we have chosen for you three exhibitions celebrating a dynamic approach of art with famous artists of the kinetic movement from the 70's and more contemporary ones.  Get ready to interact!

To begin, the exhibition Dynamo presents artists who play with notions of vision, space, light and move, ranging from Calder to Kapoor. With many works physically involving the visitors, it promises to be very lively and challenging, and will stretch over 4000m2 at the Grand Palais. Runs until July 22nd, 2013.

In the galleries, we find James Turrell's luminous, interactive art works. Each installation plays with your perception and your feelings. Turrell is at work on a museum-wide installation at the Guggenheim in New York, as well as at museums in LA and Houston, as we speak. No need to travel further to see him than Almine Rech.

Also, at Kamel Mennour Gallery, we find Anne Veronica Janssens until the 22nd of June.

At the same time, Centre Georges Pompidou holds many kinetic works in its permanent collection.

By the time we're finished, you'll be seeing the world in a whole new way.

We recommend a full-day for this exploration.
