FINE PRINT: Terms & Conditions

In registering for this visit, consultation or event, you signify acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

Refunds/Cancellations Policy: Let us know in writing (via email, SMS or telephone) if you wish to cancel a visit or other booking in whole or in part. We must acknowledge your correspondence in order for cancellation to be processed. We retain 50% of the group tour fee as an administrative charge.

No amendments or name changes are possible for art excursions less than 48 hours before scheduled departure, and the full charge will be levied for cancellations within 48 hours.

Clients that do not check-in at their appointed start point and time will be considered cancelled and normal cancellation policies are applied. Dress appropriately for the weather; tours go ahead rain-or-shine. No amendments are possible after your excursion date and time.

Commission:

Please let your group leader know before buying any works so we can provide you with market advice, and negotiate a discount for you and a small commission from the seller. As professional art advisors we keep your visit rates low by recuperating a commission from the seller on any works you buy during your time with us and for 30 days thereafter.

In fairness, if you purchase a Work without letting us know beforehand, during the Term, we reserve the right to invoice you 10% of the pre-tax purchase price.

Personal mobility:

Please specify at the time of booking if you have any health issues that would require special means of transport or special accommodations at the sites we visit (galleries, ateliers or fairs). If we have not pre-arranged alternate transportation, and it’s not stated, we assume you and accompanying visitors are sufficiently fit for walking around a neighbourhood, climbing stairs to galleries or ateliers, etc.

Visit start and end times:

It is your responsibility to leave ample time for any journey to the indicated meeting point. The time stated on your itinerary is the time of departure for tours. We cannot refund or rebook for you missing excursions, trips or services as a result of delays on other transport services such as traffic, metro, buses and/or railways. See above.

Tickets:

Please ensure you have clarified with your guide/advisor which, if any, tickets you are to purchase in advance online, and which are the responsibility of your guide, and have them with you at the time of your excursion.

Variation of Itinerary:

Subject to your approval, we reserve the right to vary the services described in our itineraries in accordance with new information and opportunities in Paris’s museums and galleries, up to 24 hours prior to excursion.

Alterations:

If we must change details of the excursion for reasons beyond our control, we will notify you as soon as possible and give you the information as to the alterations.

Force Majeure:

Where we cancel the whole excursion before departure because of unusual or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, then we will refund all money already paid by you, but you will not be entitled to any additional compensation for the loss of the excursion. Where the excursion is interrupted to a significant extent by circumstances beyond our control we will refund what is deemed to be a fair proportion of the cost of the excursion.

Insurance for travellers to Paris:

You are responsible for purchasing and maintaining all necessary insurance, including but not limited to health, cancellation, transportation, liability etc.

Complaints:

In the unfortunate event you have a complaint about your visit, contact your excursion leader and our staff will do their best to rectify your problem. If we cannot resolve your complaint at the time, you should make a written or electronic record of your complaint and hand it to your excursion leader or send it to us at 37 rue Clavel, Paris, FR  within 21 days of the end of the excursion. We will not be able to deal with any complaints unless we are told in writing and by that time.
