Here's how it works
This trip outside Paris is meant to be a fun and flexible way to take advantage of the best of our destination during a time of many art events.
You plan your travel and accommodation, and we plan a well-curated itinerary of the most interesting art exhibitions and happenings that we deliver to you upon receiving your reservation.
You are welcome to join us for all or just key parts part of the itinerary. When with city | art insider you'll benefit from pre-ticketing, a professional introduction to the fairs and exhibits, as well as surprise invitations, and reservations for meals with your fellow collectors.
Art fair highlights
Art Brussels Art Fair is a major international event, attracting Belgian, French, European and international galleries. Yet it suits collectors of all budget ranges, as galleries run the gamut from those focusing on emerging artists, to those featuring well-collected artists.
Out and about
Outside the fair we'll visit the vernissages and galleries of the Saint-Catherine, Louise and/or Saint-Gilles neighborhoods and see current exhibits at Wiels (Franz Erhard Walther & Akram Zaatari), Museum of Beaux-Arts or BOZAR (Michaël Borremans), and La Centrale.
Then we step outside the galleries to explore the collectors' collections in the private residence at Maison Particulière, a Belgian brownstone renovated to showcase artworks. It's our particular favourite -- nothing's for sale, only for pleasure. Seeing big collectors' private holdings in such an exquisite space is quite an inspiration for those of us building our own collections.
