Emerging art and street art in Belleville
Overlooking the city of Paris, Belleville has become a trendy neighborhood.
In a very cosmopolite atmosphere, it’s packed full of the creative class, who have turned former warehouses and working-class housing into studio and living space.
Where the artists move, the galleries are quick to follow (not to mention the bars, cafés and restaurants!). The area is also one of the best place in Paris to see street art.
Our visit through Belleville will introduce you to up-and-coming and more established artists and galleries, as well as the cultural history of the neighborhood.
