Belleville art walk

An historic neighbourhood overlooking the city of Paris Belleville is where it’s at -- or, as the French say, “Très recherché!”

It’s packed full of the creative class, who have been quick to transform the neighborhood, turning former warehouses and working-class housing into studio and living space.

Where the artists move, the galleries are quick to follow (not to mention the bars, cafés and restaurants!). The area is also one of the best place in Paris to see street art.

Our visit through Belleville will introduce you to up-and-coming and more established artists and galleries, as well as the cultural history of the neighborhood.

Half or full-day excursions available.

Our day of visiting galleries in Belleville opened our eyes to the new artists of Paris and beyond. It was interesting to see the range of art forms and learn about the Belleville arrondissement. We enjoyed Caroline’s company and greatly appreciated her knowledge. A most enjoyable afternoon.
