Centre Pompidou's collection includes around 120 000 works of art, so every two years, the museum refreshes their display on the 4th and 5th floor of its legendary building designed by Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers.

The 4th floor is dedicated to modern art and concentrates on the period between 1905 and 1965. Around forty rooms trace major trends and artists from Fauvism, Cubism, Abstraction, Bauhaus, Surrealism, Pop Art and Nouveaux Realistes.

Time marches on on the 4th floor, displaying contemporary art collections from the 1960 till today. Discover a very dynamic and lively mix of internationally reknowned artists and Pompidou's best guesses as to which of today's artists will stand the test of time.
